Cramer's Point Review

Cramer's Point is a few miles north of the village on 9N. Again one of the better prices for cottages, especially off-season. I have stayed at Cramer's Point on two different occasions now.  The first time I visited the room we stayed in was heated by a portable electric radiator ( you know the ones that are filled with oil, and looked like the old cast iron radiators.) Not that this is a crime or anything, but it did present a bit of a problem with my one and a half-year-old daughter running around the room, we constantly had to keep a hand on her. In all fairness, this was in the fall of 1996, and at that time, they were talking about putting in central heat, a few rooms at a time, so the problem may be fixed by now. Besides, this shouldn't' be a problem if you are planning a trip during the normal season, as it is plenty warm enough, you won't need heat.
We stayed at Cramer's Point again in October of 2000.  During this trip we stayed in one of the cabins.   Once again, the weather got VERY cold while we were there.  The cabin however, had built in heat, as well as a fireplace, and our daughter was considerably older as well.  It was a much better stay.  Call them at 518-668-2292
